72nd National Film Awards: Finally the 72nd National Film Awards have been announced. Bollywood actor Karthik and Malayalam cinema superstar Mammootty have been jointly chosen as the best actor. Whereas famous Bollywood actress Yami Gautam was declared the best actress. Rajkumar Rao’s film ‘Srikanth’ has received the Best Hindi Film Award.
Karthik Aryan and Mammootty became best actors
The 72nd National Film Awards were announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in New Delhi on Saturday evening. Malayalam actor Mammootty has been selected as the Best Actor for the film ‘Brahmayugam’. Karthik Aryan was also chosen Best Actor for his film ‘Chandu Champion’.

Yami Gautam became the best actress
Let us tell you that these National Awards are for the films of the year 2024. While Mammootty and Kartik Aryan were chosen the best actors, Bollywood actress Yami Gautam has won the best actress award. He received this award for the film ‘Article 370’.
Dominance of ‘Article 370’ and ‘Srikanth’
While Yami received the Best Actress Award for Article 370, this film was also given the National Award for Best Feature Film. Rajkumar Rao’s film Srikanth has been chosen the best Hindi film.
