Bihar assembly elections are getting closer. Political rhetoric is intensifying. While the Grand Alliance (RJD+Congress) and NDA (BJP+JDU) are creating electoral momentum with their explosive rallies, Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj is creating an alternative political wave. In a meeting held in Motihari, Prashant Kishor not only made a scathing attack on Tejashwi Yadav, but also put Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP leadership in the dock.
Prashant Kishor told the public in Motihari that even if Tejashwi Yadav is the CM face of the Grand Alliance, he should first apologize for the 15-year rule of his parents, unless he accepts that there was jungle raj in Bihar during that period, his development promises seem dishonest. He further said that if Tejashwi accepts the rule of his father Lalu Prasad Yadav and mother Rabri Devi and apologizes as a mistake, then the public can think that now they have reformed. Giving the example of Congress, Kishore said that if Congress apologized for the Sikh riots, then RJD should also publicly apologize for the mistakes of its rule.
Target on PM Modi
Prashant Kishore made a shocking revelation in the meeting in Motihari. He said that he had written Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Motihari sugar mill speech during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. In that speech, Modi had said that next time I come, I will drink tea with sugar from the same closed sugar mill. Kishore raised the question and said that now 11 years have passed, but neither the sugar mill was opened nor the promise was fulfilled. On the contrary, that land was sold in pieces. Now tell me, who are the buyers? He sarcastically said that people repeatedly vote for those who have broken promises instead of development. He further said that if you want to start a factory then vote for the factory. If you want education then vote for education. Not for caste or party.
Now is the time to change Bihar – Jan Suraj’s message
Prashant Kishore said in the meeting that Jan Suraj’s movement is not for any individual but for the rights of the people. He said that our life is made by the grace of our parents and the mercy of God. Now is the time to give, not to take. Putting BJP, RJD and JDU in the dock, Kishore said that these parties are doing politics only for power. The aim of Jan Suraj is to empower the common man of Bihar, so that politics can be free from caste, religion and commission. He also said that Jan Suraj is not emerging like a celebrity movement, but like a mass movement, where people from every section like farmers, teachers, students and youth are joining this journey of change.
Direct attack on BJP and Samrat Chaudhary
Prashant Kishore also made a scathing attack on NDA’s chief ministerial candidate Samrat Chaudhary. He said that the person whom BJP wants to make the Chief Minister today, has failed for the seventh time and has been accused in seven murder cases. He jokingly said that if Tejashwi Yadav has failed in the ninth class, then at least he is saying on camera that he has failed in the ninth class, but Samrat Chaudhary does not even tell when he passed the matriculation. He asked the public whether you want to improve Bihar by making criminals the Chief Minister? Unless wrong is called wrong, improvement is impossible in Bihar.
