As winter has started increasing in Uttar Pradesh, the level of pollution in the air is also increasing. In districts like Noida and Ghaziabad adjacent to Delhi, the air has reached very bad category and it has become difficult for people to breathe. But, from today 27th October there will be a change in the weather. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many districts of Western UP on Monday.

Uttar Pradesh: A new western disturbance is becoming active, due to which light rain will be seen in some parts of the state today. Due to which the cold will increase further. On October 27, isolated rain and thundershowers are expected in the southern division of Western UP. But the weather will remain dry in the eastern division today.

It will rain in these districts of UP today

In UP, rain has been predicted today in Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Jhansi, Hamirpur, Mahoba and Lalitpur, although no warning has been given. The weather is expected to remain dry in both the divisions on October 28. Kale Badra will come again on 29th October. During this period, the weather will remain dry in Western UP while an alert of rain with thunder and lightning has been issued at some places in the Eastern division.

On October 30, an alert has been given for rain and thundershowers at isolated places in both the western and eastern parts. During this period, there will be thunder, lightning and winds blowing at a speed of 30-40 km per hour in Eastern UP. On October 31 also, there has been a warning of rain and thundershowers in the eastern division.

Due to rain, the maximum temperature will decrease by 2-4 degrees Celsius in the next 4-5 days. In the last 24 hours, the lowest minimum temperature recorded in Meerut was 15.1 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, Bareilly, Najibabad, Muzaffarnagar and Shahjahanpur were also the coldest districts.

Air pollution increases with winter

Along with winter, the amount of pollution in the air has also increased in UP. The level of air pollution in the capital Lucknow is beyond 200, which falls in the bad category. The condition of districts like Noida, Ghaziabad, Baghpat and Meerut is even worse, here the level of air pollution has crossed 300, which comes in the category of very bad. The people here are facing the double blow of cold and suffocating wind.
