In Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday night, the police had an encounter with a criminal carrying a reward of Rs 20 thousand. In the encounter, the history-sheeter was injured by police bullets. On which he has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Police have recovered a scooter, a pistol and cartridges etc. from the miscreant. After being shot by the police, the miscreant was seen apologizing.
CO Garhmukteshwar Stuti Singh said that Bahadurgarh police station was checking at Palwara Rajwahe late at night, when a young man was seen coming to the police on a scooter. When the police tried to stop him, the young man opened fire on the police, in which the policemen narrowly escaped. In retaliation the police also opened fire. In which a bullet hit the young man’s leg. After this the police caught the young man. During interrogation, the youth revealed his name as Abujar son of Anees Ahmed, resident of Mohammadpur Rustampur, police station Bahadurgarh.
A dozen cases are registered
Garhmukteshwar CO Stuti Singh said that the youth caught is a history-sheeter scoundrel. Apart from the state of Haryana, about a dozen cases of theft and Arms Act are registered against the criminal Abujar in Bijnor and Hapur districts of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, in the dispute between two communities in Bahadurgarh area, a reward of Rs 20 thousand was declared on Abujar under sections 115 (2), 352, 351 (2), 351 (3), 110 BNS and 3 (2) V SC / ST Act.
