India Meteorological Department i.e. IMD has predicted light rain in these states, according to IMD’s alert, NCR’s Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Manesar, Ballabhgarh, Haryana’s Sohna, Rewari, Palwal, Bawal, Nuh, Aurangabad, Hodal, UP’s Secunderabad, Bulandshahr, Nandgaon, Barsana, Rajasthan’s Bhiwadi, Tijara, Khairthal, Kotputli, There is a possibility of light rain in Alwar, Viratnagar, Nagar, Deeg, Laxmangarh, Rajgarh, Nadbai, Mahua, Mehndipur Balaji.
Chances of rain in these areas of Delhi
With reference to the national capital Delhi, it has been said that during the next 2 hours, there may be rain in some areas of Delhi like Akshardham, Safdarjung, Lodhi Road, Nehru Stadium, Vasant Vihar, RK Puram, Defense Colony, Lajpat Nagar, Vasant Kunj, Hauz Khas, Malviya Nagar, Kalkaji, Mehrauli, Tughlakabad, Chhatarpur, IGNOU, Ayanagar, Deramandi.

Delhi-NCR is in great need of rain

Recently, a team from IIT Kanpur had conducted a trial of cloud seeding in some areas of Delhi, although it was not completely successful. The director of IIT Kanpur had said in a statement that some reduction in pollution particles was recorded due to cloud seeding. Had there been moisture, cloud seeding would have been successful.
