Rohit Arya, who held 17 children hostage in Powai, Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, died during treatment. According to the information, Rohit had fired at the police. In response to this the police also opened fire. During this the accused got injured. After this, the police immediately took him to the hospital where he died during treatment.
Let us tell you that this dramatic situation continued for more than an hour at RA Studio near L&T Building in Powai area of Mumbai on Thursday afternoon. Boys and girls of about 15 years of age were called for ‘audition’. Before the children were rescued, Arya released a video on social media, saying that he wanted to talk to some people and ask them questions, and that he did not want money. Arya threatened that if he was not allowed to do so, he would set the studio on fire.

The police received a call at 1.45 pm on October 30. Some chemicals and air guns were found on the spot. The children were called for the audition of a web series. This operation was quite challenging for Mumbai Police. This incident happened in broad daylight. Children held hostage in the classroom were seen peeping through the window. As soon as information about the incident was received, the family members of the children also reached the spot and appealed to the police administration to save the children.

In this case, Mumbai Police said that all the children are safe and they have been handed over to their parents. Other details will be shared as soon as possible after proper verification. Giving information, police said that a person named Rohit Arya had taken some children hostage in Powai area of Mumbai.
