This increases body strength and reduces the risk of injury. Such women should do 150 minutes of moderate workout every week so that they can continue the practice of weightlifting.

What should be kept in mind while weightlifting during pregnancy?

Doctors say that women who want to do weightlifting even during pregnancy, they should reduce its intensity a little less than before, that is, they should practice with light weight. During this time, they should lift only 70 percent of their previous weight and practice the same by repeating it. Also, during pregnancy, due to the center of gravity, the weight of women shifts towards the front, due to which there are chances of injury in the rear part. In such a situation, women should take care that the child does not get harmed and they also do not get injured. Also, weightlifting is fine for the first 5 months but practicing it after that can be dangerous.
