Bank Holidays in November 2025: The holidays of Dussehra, Dhanteras, Diwali are over, the month of October has also passed. Now it is the turn of November. Banks will remain closed for a total of 11 days this month, which also includes holidays on Sunday, second and fourth Saturday. According to the calendar of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will remain closed in many places in November due to festivals. Barring these, work has been going on normally in all the other states. However, despite the bank branches remaining closed, customers will be able to do money transactions, bill payments, balance check etc. with the help of digital services like net banking, mobile banking, UPI and ATM. November 1st – All government and private banks in Karnataka will remain closed on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava. On this day in 1956, the state of Karnataka was formed by combining all the Kannada-speaking areas of South India. On this day, all the banks will also remain closed in Dehradun because Igas-Bagwal will be celebrated here, which is also known as Budhi Diwali.
5 November – On this day, banks will remain closed in Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar due to festivals like Guru Nanak Jayanti, Kartik Purnima and Rahas Purnima.
6 November – Banks will remain closed in Shillong on this day on the occasion of Nongkrem dance.
7 November – All banks in Shillong will remain closed on this day also on the occasion of Wangala Utsav.
8 November – Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru on the occasion of Kanakdas Jayanti. This day is dedicated to poet and social reformer Shri Kanakdas.
11th November- There will be a bank holiday in Sikkim due to Lhabab Duchene. This is a special day in Buddhism.
Weekly off in November
Banks will remain closed everywhere in the country on 2 November (Sunday), 8 November (second Saturday), 9 November (Sunday).
There will also be bank holidays on 16th November (Sunday), 22nd November (fourth Saturday).
23 November (Sunday) and 30 November (Sunday)
