Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday (November 02, 2025) attacked Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family and said that if his son comes to power, three new ministries of ‘murder, kidnapping and extortion’ will be created in Bihar.
Addressing an election rally in Muzaffarpur, Shah claimed that if the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government remains intact, Bihar will be made flood-free and a separate ministry will be formed for this. Shah said, ‘If NDA remains in power, Bihar will be made flood free. A separate ministry will be set up for flood control.
Shah’s taunt on Tejashwi Yadav and RJD
Shah appealed to the public to vote for the NDA to prevent a repeat of the Jungle Raj seen during the RJD rule. He said, ‘If Lalu ji’s son (Tejashwi Yadav) becomes the Chief Minister, then three new ministries will be formed in Bihar, one for murder, the second for kidnapping and the third for extortion. Your votes will save Bihar from going into jungle raj again. Efforts are being made to bring back Jungle Raj with new faces.
Targeting RJD chief Lalu Prasad and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, the Home Minister said, ‘Both want to make their respective sons the Chief Minister of Bihar and the Prime Minister of the country, whereas both the posts are not vacant. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made India safe, prosperous and strong and has started many public welfare schemes.
Internal strife among constituent parties of ‘Grand Alliance’
In another meeting held in Vaishali, Shah said, ‘Incidents of kidnapping, murder and atrocities were common during the RJD rule. Voters should prevent the return of that era by voting this time. If Lalu ji’s son becomes the Chief Minister, then three new departments will be created in Bihar, for murder, kidnapping and extortion. Your votes will save Bihar from going into jungle raj again. Efforts are being made to bring back Jungle Raj with new faces. Shah also said that there is internal strife going on among the constituent parties of the ‘Grand Alliance’.
Litchi producers of Bihar will get benefits
Referring to the work done by the Central Government under the leadership of the Prime Minister, Shah said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made India safe, prosperous and strong and has started many public welfare schemes. He said, ‘The reduction in GST will benefit litchi growers of Bihar, while steps are being taken to set up a ‘Mega Food Park’ in Muzaffarpur at a cost of Rs 20,000 crore.’
Modi-Nitish announced development plans in Bihar
He said, ‘Under the Modi-Nitish regime, Bihar became the first state in the country to export railway engines and an engineering cluster was established in Gaya.’ In the meeting in Vaishali, he said that the Prime Minister has prepared a plan by which the water of Kosi, Ganga and Gandak rivers will be supplied to the fields of Bihar for irrigation.
Shah has announced that a special Vande Bharat train will be started from Sitamarhi in Bihar, which is considered the birthplace of Mata Sita, to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. He said that this service will be started after the construction of the temple in Sitamarhi at a cost of Rs 850 crore. Describing the NDA constituents as ‘five Pandavas’, Shah said, ‘BJP, JD(U), Chirag Paswan’s LJP (Ram Vilas), ‘Hum’ and Kushwaha’s party together will make Bihar prosperous.
