Today (Tuesday) is the last day of campaigning for the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections (2025). The noise of publicity will stop this evening. After this, the candidates will have only 24 hours left to woo the voters by going door-to-door with local supporters. Tuesday is the last day of the first phase of campaign, hence the leaders of NDA and Grand Alliance will hold public meetings in many districts today. Will appeal to the public to vote in his favor.

Voting is to be held on 121 seats in the first phase.

The first phase of voting is to be held on 6 November. Complete preparations have been made for this. In the first phase, voting will be held on 121 assembly seats in 18 districts. Of these, voting is to be held on 102 general and 19 reserved seats for Scheduled Castes. A total of 3,75,13,302 voters are in the voting list for 121 seats in the first phase. The fate of 1,314 candidates will be sealed in EVMs on November 6.

45,341 booths established for voting

In the first phase, out of total 1314 candidates, 122 are women and 1192 are male candidates. A total of 45,341 booths have been established in the state for the first phase of voting. Of these, there will be 45,324 main booths while 17 auxiliary booths are included. 36,733 booths have been established in rural areas and 8,608 booths have been established in urban areas. Information has been given that 926 booths will be operated by women while 107 booths will be operated by disabled people. Apart from this, 320 model booths have been made.

In the first phase, three crore 75 lakh 13 thousand 302 voters will exercise their franchise. Of these, one crore 98 lakh 35 thousand 325 are male voters. The number of women voters is one crore 76 lakh 77 thousand 219. Talking about third gender, their number is 758.

In order to conduct the elections peacefully, the Commission has appointed 121 general, 18 police and 33 expenditure observers in the first phase. If we talk about the second phase of voting, voting will be held on 122 seats on November 11. The result will be announced on 14th November.
