The Indian team has not yet received the Asia Cup 2025 trophy and Mohsin Naqvi has announced to start two new seasons of the Asia Cup. According to the report of Cricbuzz, the first new season of Asia Cup will be Asia Cup Rising Stars, which was earlier named Emerging Asia Cup. Eight teams will participate in this tournament like Asia Cup 2025. While the A teams of Test playing nations will participate, the main teams of Associate Nations will participate. This tournament will be played in Doha between 14 and 23 November. Indian team can also participate in Asia Cup Rising Stars, due to which the match between India and Pakistan can be seen once again.
After Asia Cup Rising Stars, Under-19 Asia Cup will also be played. This tournament can be held in December, but information about the venue and match dates of this season has not been revealed yet.
Will India get the Asia Cup trophy?
The Asia Cup 2025 trophy is with ACC. Mohsin Naqvi says that any Indian player can go and take the trophy from him, but BCCI is not ready for this. Now Team India has to play two new seasons of Asia Cup. Before taking part in this season, BCCI can place a demand before Mohsin Naqvi to return the trophy.
