Opposition parties on Wednesday accused BJP leaders of voting in two different states and called it ‘proof of vote theft’. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress claimed that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) ideologue Rakesh Sinha has voted in both Delhi and Bihar.
AAP said- ‘This is open theft’
AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj shared screenshots of two posts of Rakesh Sinha on social media. In these posts, he was seen voting in the Delhi Assembly elections on 5 February 2025 and then on Thursday he was also seen voting in the Bihar elections. Bhardwaj wrote, ‘If he teaches in Delhi University, then how can he show address in Bihar? BJP does not reform when caught, but steals openly. AAP also alleged that BJP Delhi Purvanchal Morcha president Santosh Ojha and worker Nagendra Kumar have also cast their votes in both Delhi and Bihar.
He can’t change his address to Bihar as he still teaches at Motilal Nehru College (eve) in Delhi University.
It’s open and shut case of fraud. https://t.co/TksTLtS2kT— Saurabh Bharadwaj (@Saurabh_MLAgk) November 6, 2025
Rakesh Sinha’s answer- ‘This is the lowest level of politics’
Rakesh Sinha rejected all the allegations and said that he has got his voter card removed from Delhi and transferred to his village Manaspur in Begusarai, Bihar.
baseless and morally contested allegation is being leveled against me by by liars and morally degraded leaders of @AamAadmiParty @INCIndia and their ilk. My name is only in Bihar’s electoral roll. It was earlier in Delhi’s electoral roll and I got it deleted through… pic.twitter.com/wuvwHPZD8V

He wrote, ‘Never thought that politics could stoop so low. Those who are questioning the integrity of those who respect the Constitution should think a hundred times before speaking. Earlier my name was in the voter list of Delhi, but now that I am active in the politics of Bihar, I got it transferred to the village. Should I file a defamation case on this false allegation?
