Discussions have intensified after US President Donald Trump’s claim that Pakistan conducted nuclear tests secretly. On this issue, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has clearly said that no pressure can be put on India and the country will take decisions regarding its security and nuclear policy only on the basis of its interests at the right time. During an interview, Rajnath Singh gave a clear message that India’s policy will not change whatever America or Pakistan are doing.

Responding to the ongoing discussions between Pakistan and America regarding possible nuclear testing, Rajnath Singh said, ‘The future will tell what India will do. There will be no pressure on us due to what America or Pakistan are doing. They should work as per their own convenience, and we will do whatever is right as per our convenience at the right time.

US President Donald Trump had said, ‘Russia is testing and China is testing, but they don’t talk about it. We will test, because they test and others also test. Certainly North Korea is also testing. Pakistan is also testing.
Pakistan had repeatedly called and demanded ceasefire
Rajnath Singh talked in detail about Operation Sindoor in an interview given to News 18. He said that the action against terrorist targets in PoK continued until India achieved all its targets. He told that Pakistan’s DGMO called several times and demanded ceasefire, after which India stopped the operation only after completing its targets. Rajnath Singh also warned that if needed, we will conduct such operations again.
We only targeted terrorists- Rajnath Singh
The Defense Minister rejected Pakistan’s allegation that the Indian Army targeted civilian areas. He said that Indian forces have only targeted terrorists and their hideouts. He reiterated that we killed terrorists, not civilians.
Trump has no role in ceasefire – Defense Minister
When asked whether Donald Trump played any role in the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, Rajnath Singh clearly denied it. He said, ceasefire happened only between India and Pakistan. There was no role of any third party.
Pakistan cannot be trusted – Defense Minister
On giving the post of Field Marshal to Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir, Rajnath Singh said sarcastically, ‘He took the promotion himself.’ He said that Pakistan cannot be trusted in any matter.
