‘Practice of drowning in Bihar elections…’, PM Modi taunted Rahul Gandhi for jumping into the pond.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a sharp jibe at Rahul Gandhi during the election rally in Sitamarhi, Bihar. Referring to the video of Rahul Gandhi jumping into the pond during his recent meeting with the fishermen community in Begusarai, Modi said that some ‘big people’ are ‘practicing for drowning in the elections’ by taking a dip in the water in Bihar. PM Modi took a jibe at opposition leader Rahul Gandhi during a rally in Sitamarhi, Bihar on Saturday.

Modi’s taunt on Rahul Gandhi
PM Modi said that some ‘big people’ are now coming to Bihar to see fish and take a dip in the water. He said, ‘Even big people are coming here to see the fish. They are taking a dip in water… they are practicing drowning in Bihar elections.

Rahul Gandhi had met the fishermen
A few days ago, Rahul Gandhi had come to meet the fishermen community in Begusarai. After the rally, he went to a nearby pond and after reaching the middle of the boat, he jumped into it. Former minister Mukesh Sahni also played a trap with him, due to which Rahul Gandhi seemed quite impressed. Kanhaiya Kumar and many fishermen also entered the waist-deep muddy water with him.

RJD and opposition also attacked
Along with taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi, PM Modi also targeted the RJD-led opposition of Bihar. He said that if the opposition government is formed, they will scare people by showing them ‘katta’ and ‘make them raise their hands’. Modi said, ‘I shudder to hear that RJD is telling children in their rallies that they want to become ‘colourful’ when they grow up. Bihar does not want a government which has corruption, misgovernance, cruelty and corruption.

Don’t want a Katta government – PM Modi
PM Modi said, ‘Wherever I go, I hear only one thing – we do not want ‘Katta Sarkar’, but ‘NDA Government’. The public no longer wants a system that places a ‘katta’ on its head and says – ‘Hands up’. People do not want ‘hands up’ but ‘start-up’, which the NDA is promoting. NDA does not promote ‘Katta’ but school bags, computers, cricket bats and hockey sticks.

Demand for NDA government again
PM Modi claimed that the public has a clear message in his rallies – we do not want a Katta government, but an NDA government. He has held more than a dozen rallies since the elections were declared.

Second phase of elections on November 11
Voting for the second phase of Bihar assembly elections is to be held on November 11. During the first phase on November 6, 64.69% voting took place. The opposition is seeing this increased vote percentage as public support against the NDA. Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishore said that the increase in voting indicates that people want change.
