In this recruitment of NIT Durgapur, educational qualification has been decided according to the posts. For Group A posts, the candidate must have BE or B.Tech, MSc, MCA or Master’s degree from a recognized university with first division. For Group B posts, the candidate must have a first class graduate degree or diploma. Whereas for Group C posts, the candidate must have 10+2 (Intermediate), ITI or diploma in related subject.
The selection of candidates for NIT Durgapur Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025 will be done in four stages. In the first phase, there will be a written examination, in which objective type questions related to the post will be asked. In the second phase, there will be skill test or professional test, in which the practical ability of the candidates will be evaluated.
In the third phase, interviews will be conducted by the selection committee. Finally document verification will be done, in which all the original certificates of the candidates will be checked. Only successful candidates will be given appointment in all these stages.
Selected candidates in NIT Durgapur will get attractive pay scale as per the post. The pay level under Group A has been fixed between 10 to 14, under Group B at level 6 and under Group C from level 1 to 4. Along with this, allowances and other facilities will also be given as per the rules of the institute.
The application fee is completely waived for SC, ST, disabled, women and ex-servicemen candidates appearing in this recruitment. Whereas General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay application fee of Rs 1500 for Group A posts and Rs 1000 for Group B and Group C posts. Payment will be accepted through online mode only.
