Indian Air Force has once again given a golden opportunity to the youth across the country. The online application process for Air Force Common Admission Test i.e. AFCAT 1 2026 has been started from today, 17th November. Candidates applying for this examination can now fill their application form by visiting the official website afcat.cdac.in. Keep in mind that forms will be accepted only online and the last date has been fixed as 9 December 2025.
Who can apply?
Some essential qualifications have been fixed for the candidates applying for AFCAT 1 2026. First of all, the candidate should have 10+2, graduation degree, engineering degree or NCC certificate. Different educational qualifications are required for different posts, hence candidates must see the notification before applying.

- Flying Branch: Minimum age 20 years and maximum 24 years.
- Ground Duty (Technical/Non Technical): Maximum age 26 years.
- NCC candidates will also get age relaxation as per rules.
How much is the application fee?
A fee of Rs 550 has been kept for applying under AFCAT Entry. This fee is same for all categories. Fees can be paid online only. There is a separate process for NCC special entry, but for this also candidates should see the official notification.
