Mahendra Singh Dhoni is at number one in the list of top-5 wicketkeepers who have taken the most wickets in IPL. MS is the most successful wicketkeeper in IPL history. Dhoni has played for two teams in IPL i.e. Chennai Super Kings and Rising Pune Super Giants. Dhoni, popularly known as ‘Captain Cool’, has played 278 matches in the IPL so far, in which he has made the maximum of 201 dismissals. This includes 154 catches and 47 stumpings.
2. Dinesh Karthik – 174 dismissals
Dinesh Karthik is at second place in the list of wicketkeepers who have taken the most wickets in IPL. Karthik has made 174 dismissals in 257 IPL matches, in which he was successful in taking 137 catches and 37 stumpings. Karthik has played for six teams in IPL and those teams are Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Lions, Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
3. Wriddhiman Saha – 113 dismissals
Wriddhiman Saha is third in the list of wicketkeepers who have taken the most wickets in IPL. Saha has played for five teams in IPL i.e. Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Saha has played 170 matches in IPL, in which he has made 113 dismissals. In this, Saha has been successful in taking 87 catches and 26 stumpings.
4. Rishabh Pant – 101 dismissals
Rishabh Pant is at fourth place in the list of wicketkeepers who have taken the most wickets in IPL. Pant has made 101 dismissals in 125 IPL matches, in which he was successful in taking 77 catches and 24 stumpings. Pant has played for two teams in IPL and those teams are Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants.
5. Robin Uthappa – 90 dismissals
Robin Uthappa is at fifth place in the list of wicketkeepers who have taken the most wickets in IPL. Uthappa has played for six teams in IPL i.e. Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Pune Warriors India, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals. Robin has played 205 matches in IPL, in which he has made 90 dismissals. In this, Uthappa has been successful in taking 58 catches and 32 stumpings.
