Harshit Rana is out of the ODI series against England. A three-match ODI series is to be played between India and England from July 14 to July 19. Harshit suffered a hamstring injury during the England tour, due to which he had to be ruled out of the ODI series starting from July 14.
England out of ODI series
Earlier, Harshit Rana was out of Team India for 4 months due to knee injury. He returned after four months on the Ireland tour. He played both the matches with Ireland and then 3 matches against England. There is news that Harshit may soon go to BCCI’s Center of Excellence in Bengaluru.
Before the fourth T20 match against England, it was announced that Harshit Rana and Varun Chakraborty were out of the last 2 T20 matches due to hamstring injuries. This is bad news for Harshit, because he will not be able to play in the series against England.
Till now the Indian team has got only defeat on UK tour. First there was a 0-2 defeat against Ireland, after that England also lost in the T20 series. Now the only hope is from the ODI team that Team India will say goodbye to the UK tour with at least some good memories.
Virat-Rohit’s return
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will also be seen playing in the ODI series against England. Especially Virat will be seen in Team India’s jersey for the first time after January 2026. Virat could not play in the ODI series with Afghanistan due to injury. Shubman Gill will be captaining the ODI team.
