The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Thursday (November 20) raided the office of English daily, Kashmir Times, located on Residency Road, Jammu. During this raid, the investigating agency has recovered some rounds of AK-47 from the office of Kashmir Times.
Besides, a pistol has also been recovered from the office of Kashmir Times in this raid. A grenade lever has also been recovered from this office. The office has been sealed by the authorities. Other action is being taken.

SIA has filed an FIR against “Kashmir Times” for articles posing a threat to public law and order. The Srinagar office of the newspaper was sealed by the Jammu and Kashmir administration in October 2020.
Whereas its editor Anuradha Bhasin’s book “Dismantled State: The Untold Story of Kashmir after 370” was banned by the Jammu and Kashmir Home Department in August 2025 for propagating false narratives and separatism in Jammu and Kashmir.
Why did this action happen?
This raid has been conducted in this office under allegations of anti-national activities and supporting terrorist ideologies.
