Uttar Pradesh government has started large recruitment of Anganwadi in many districts of the state. Recruitment has been done for more than 16,000 posts in many districts of the state. This is being considered a big opportunity for the women who have been waiting for this recruitment for a long time. Women and Child Development Department said that the recruitment process has started in different districts and candidates can apply online by visiting the official website upanganwabidharti.in. This time the government has announced recruitment for the posts of Anganwadi assistants and workers in almost the entire state. In some districts the number of posts is less and in some it is much more. Maximum posts are in Azamgarh, Sitapur and Lakhimpur Kheri.

Who can apply?
It is necessary for the candidate to have passed 12th. Women resident of the same Gram Sabha or ward will be given preference. Widows, divorced or abandoned women living below the poverty line will get the first chance. If such candidates are not available, widows/divorced women above poverty line of the same area can also apply.
