Tata defeated Mahindra-Hundai

At the same time, Mahindra confirmed the place at number three in this list. Mahindra has sold 46,297 cars in March 2025, with Mahindra’s market share to 13.20 percent.

Hyundai has come in fourth place in the sales report of March 2025 cars. Last month, Hyundai had a sale of 42,511 units, which is five percent less than in March 2024. With this, Hyundai’s market share has come down from 13.50 percent to 12.13 percent from March 2025.

Maruti dominated

Maruti dominated the retail sales of cars last month. Maruti has sold 1,32,423 units in March 2025. Japanese automakers have gained 3.08 per cent as compared to March 2024. Maruti’s market share in India has become 37.77 percent. Toyota has made its place at number five in the sales report of cars. Last month, 23,328 trains of Toyota were sold and the company’s market share was 6.65 percent. At the same time, Kia had a sale of 21,997 units in March 2025 and the company’s market share was 2.27 percent.
