Recruitment of 1100 Assistant Surgeons in this state, golden opportunity for MBBS people; Know the process

Interested candidates can apply online by visiting mrb.tn.gov.in. MBBS degree, Tamil Nadu Medical Council registration and certificate of House Surgeon (CRRI) have been made mandatory for recruitment.

Whereas the maximum age limit has been fixed at 37 years for general category, 47 years for PWD and 48 years for ex-servicemen. SC, ST, BC, MBC and BCM categories will get age relaxation.

Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 56,100 to Rs 2,05,700 per month as per Level-22. The selection process will be based on Computer Based Test, Covid Duty Incentive Marks (if applicable), and document verification.

The exam will be in two parts, first is Tamil Language Eligibility Test, in which the 1 hour exam will have 50 marks and it will be necessary to score 40%. The second part will be CBT of Medical Science (UG Level), whose duration will be 2 hours and total marks will be 100. For this, qualifying marks have been fixed at 30% for SC, SCA, ST and 35% for other categories.

The application fee for this recruitment has been kept at one thousand rupees. Whereas the last date of application is 11th December.
