Recruitment for 158 posts in State Agricultural Universities, selection is being done without interview

Overall, there is a job opportunity for the candidates on 158 posts. Under the recruitment, 87 posts will be filled in Junagadh Agricultural University, 24 posts in Anand Agricultural University and 47 posts in Navsari Agricultural University.

To apply for these posts, candidates must have 2 to 3 years diploma in the relevant subject. These include Agriculture, Horticulture, Agro Processing, Agricultural Engineering, Nutrition and Community Science, Food Technology and Nutrition, Food Nutrition and Dietetics, Agricultural Cooperation, Banking and Marketing and Home Science. Apart from this, the candidate should also have passed DOEACC CCC or any equivalent computer examination. This ensures that the selected candidates can easily handle modern agricultural technology and digital operations.

The minimum age for recruitment has been kept at 18 years, while the maximum age has been fixed at 33 years. Reserve category candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per rules. Candidates will get a salary of Rs 26,000 per month for the initial 5 years. But after completion of 5 years of service, his salary will be increased to Rs 81,000 per month.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination. There will be no interview, which will keep the process transparent and simple. In the written examination, questions related to subject, general knowledge and computer related questions can be asked.

Candidates applying will have to pay the application fee. General category candidates will have to pay Rs 1000. The fee for EWS, SC, ST, SEBC is Rs 250. Whereas, disabled candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 250. No fee will be charged to ex-servicemen.
