The 53rd International Emmy Awards has started and the stars are seen on the red carpet with full glamour. From actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh to Best Performance by an Actress nominee Charlotte Hope, the evening was further glittering with stars. Meanwhile, the complete list of winners has also been revealed. Where Diljit Dosanjh’s biographical drama ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ has not been able to win a single award. Diljit was nominated in the Best Actor and the film was nominated in the Best TV Mini Movie/Mini Series category, but the film missed out on winning awards in both the categories.
Diljit Dosanjh could not become the winner
People liked Diljit Dosanjh’s character in the film Amar Singh Chamkila directed by Imtiaz Ali and his acting won hearts. Diljit Dosanjh was nominated in the Best Actor category at the International Emmy Awards 2025 for this film. Diljit Dosanjh missed out on winning this award. Actually, Diljit Dosanjh got nomination in the Best Performance Actor category at International Universe 2025. Here he was competing against David Mitchell (Ludwig) along with Oriol Pla (Yo Addicto) and Diego Vasquez (One Hundred Years of Solitude) and in such a situation, Oriol Pla won the title for Yo Addicto.

Let us tell you that apart from Best Actor, Amar Singh Chamkila was also given a place in the Best TV Film Mini Series category, but after the nominations, he had to lose in both the categories. Lost Boys and Fairies has won in the Best TV Movie/Mini Series category. Indian fans are disappointed with the film Amar Singh Chamkila missing out on the Emmy Awards. He was confident of the success of the movie because it had gained immense popularity at the global level also.
