Bihar School Examination Board Chairman Anand Kishore today (Wednesday) released the result of D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Examination (2025). 3,23,313 candidates had appeared in this examination. Out of these, 255468 candidates have been successful. That means 79.01% candidates have passed. This examination was held at 19 centers in 9 districts of the state.
The examination was taken through CBT from 26 August to 27 September 2025. A total of 120 multiple choice questions of one mark each were asked. There was no provision for negative marking. Anand Kishore told that after passing this examination, now the passed candidates will be able to apply online for enrollment in D.El.Ed institutes.
The time for nomination has been fixed from 29th November to 5th December. Candidates can check their result by visiting the official website bsebdeled.com.
306 D.El.Ed educational institutions in the state
Let us tell you that there are 306 D.El.Ed educational institutions in the entire state. In this, the number of government institutions is 60 and the number of non-government institutions is 246. The total number of seats in government institutions is 9100 and the number of seats in non-government institutions is 21700. In this way, enrollment will be done for 30800 seats in 306 D.El.Ed institutes.
On the other hand, Anand Kishore said that the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the D.El.Ed online joint entrance examination conducted by Bihar School Examination Board. Enrollment in non-government educational institutions will be done only after 100% enrollment following the reservation rules and the options given by the candidates.
The minimum qualifying marks to be successful in D.El.Ed entrance examination is 35 percent for unreserved category and 30 percent for reserved category. After the release of the result, the nomination process will now take place. With the release of the result, now the final answer key can also be released by the Bihar School Examination Committee.
