Through this scheme, the bright children of Bihar will be provided preparation for NEET and JEE absolutely free of cost. This initiative of the board is changing the future of thousands of children every year, and in this sequence, this time too the application process has started, which has now reached its final stage.
According to the information, to join this scheme, students will first have to give a written examination. Only those students will be able to avail the benefit of free coaching, who will pass this examination. The process of online application for this examination is going on, but now it is going to close soon. The last date for filling the application has been fixed as 30 November 2025. The board has made it clear that only those students can join this scheme, who are going to appear for 10th examination in 2026 and want to take admission in +2 schools affiliated to Bihar Board in 11th. Eligible students can be from BSEB, CBSE, ICSE or any other board. That means, this scheme is for all those children who want to pursue their dream of engineering or medical after 10th.
Bihar Board’s free coaching scheme runs in two ways. The first is the housing scheme, which is called “Super 50”. This scheme is only for Patna, where students get all the facilities from accommodation, studies, tests etc. for free. The second is the non-residential scheme, which is run in 9 divisions of the state, Patna, Muzaffarpur, Chhapra, Darbhanga, Saharsa, Purnia, Bhagalpur, Gaya and Munger. In this, students do not get accommodation facilities, but coaching is completely free.
When can the exam be held?
The examination to be conducted for this scheme is proposed to be conducted on 12 December 2025. Admit cards of the candidates will be issued a few days before the date of examination. Successful students will get two full years of free coaching for the preparation of JEE 2028 and NEET 2028. According to the board, facilities like AC, digital board, OMR or CBT test twice every month and daily doubt-clearing classes will be provided in all the classes.
