CM Nitish Kumar on Friday (November 28, 2025) sent an amount of Rs 10 thousand each to 10 lakh women beneficiaries under the ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana’ from ‘Sankalp’ located at Ane Marg. In this way, an amount of Rs 1000 crore has been sent today through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) at the rate of Rs 10 thousand per beneficiary.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister cum Home Minister Samrat Chaudhary was also present on this occasion. Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary was also there. Under this scheme, funds have so far been sent to one crore 46 lakh women. This is the first installment after Bihar assembly elections. Nitish Kumar proved that even after the elections, the government remains true to its promises and will continue to work for the development of Bihar. Till now the government has transferred seven installments. Payment to all eligible women will be ensured by December 14.

The woman told the benefits of the scheme

After review after six months, further assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh will be given to the women who start employment with this money. On this occasion, a woman from West Champaran joined the video conferencing and told the CM that we are very happy that you have come among us again. We have received Rs 10,000 from ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana’. We have opened a grocery shop. This has improved the economic condition of our people. When her daughter stood first in matriculation, she also got Rs 10,000, she is also happy. With that money they are making him take a computer course.

Phoolan Kumari, a woman from Bhagalpur told Nitish Kumar that we are very happy that you came back after winning. Bihar is progressing under your leadership. We became stronger under your leadership. Women are coming out of the house. When we joined Jeevika, we started going out of the house. I got Rs 10,000 and took some from livelihood and opened a clothes shop with it. You have said that if I get Rs 2 lakh more, I will invest that also in the shop.
