Amidst the process of SIR in Uttar Pradesh, there has been a stir due to the suicide of a BLO named Sarvesh Singh in Moradabad. Sarvesh committed suicide by hanging himself after writing a suicide note on Saturday (29 November) night. Sarvesh Composite School was working in Composite School, Zahidpur, Sikampur Gram Panchayat, Bhagatpur Block. Was watching booth number 406 as BLO.
Sarvesh’s death has created chaos in the family. Along with the information, additional police, senior officers and all the teachers have reached. The family alleged that Sarvesh was put on duty in BLO without any training. They are continuously being made additional targets, due to which they are fed up and have committed suicide. While the officials have denied pressure.
What is the whole matter?
Sarvesh Singh, resident of Bahedi Bemnath village of Bhojpur police station area, was an assistant teacher in the composite school in Block Bhagatpur. Before dying, he wrote a note to the Basic Education Officer and appealed that his four daughters be taken care of. Whatever money he has should be given to his wife. Being very emotional, Sarvesh had written that I want to live but I am not able to take the pressure anymore. I feel suffocated and scared.

The deceased’s wife Babli told that her husband was given some training. That’s why he was not able to work properly. Some forms were lost and there was constant work pressure on them.
Administration refuses to pressure
According to District Officer Anuj Singh, the deceased BLO had completed 65 percent of the work. We have not yet given any notice to any BLO in the district.
