Celina Jaitley was born in a Hindu-Punjabi family in Shimla. All the brothers of the actress belong to army background. But, she turned to modeling and won the title of Femina Miss India in 2001.
At the age of just 20, Celina entered Bollywood in the year 2003 with the film Janasheen. The actress worked in many big films like No Entry, Golmaal Returns and Hey Baby. But, he could not get great success.
Celina was last seen in Thank You in 2011. After that she left acting. The actress had revealed in an interview that at the age of 16, she had fallen in love with a man who was gay. She had no idea about this and neither did she believe what her friends said.
In the interview, the actress had said that this was the first betrayal of her life. She was convinced when she caught her boyfriend red-handed with his friend.

In 2010, Celina met Australian businessman Peter Haag. Soon both of them fell in love and got married in 2011. At that time he believed that a new and happy beginning of his life was coming.
