The actor had given that land worth crores to someone else while he was alive.
Dharmendra was born in his mother’s village Nasrali. Dharmendra grew up in this village itself. His father had land in that village but when Dharmendra left everything and came to Mumbai in 1950, his cousin and his sons took care of his land. According to reports, the current price of this land is Rs 5 crore.
Who was given the land?
When Dharmendra went to his village in 2015, he gave this land to his nephew because he had been taking care of it for many decades. His nephew Bhuta Singh Deol told The New Indian Express that ,Dharmendra uncle was the cousin of my father Manjeet Singh. He last visited the village in 2019, when his son Sunny Deol contested the parliamentary elections from Gurdaspur. I also went to Gurdaspur to campaign for him. Before that, he had come to the village in 2015-16, when he had given 19 kanals and three marlas of land in the name of my father Manjeet Singh and my uncle Shingara Singh.,
Why did you give the land?
Bhuta told why Dharmendra gave his ancestral land to his cousins’ children and not to his own children. He said- Our family has been taking care of his land since he moved to Mumbai decades ago, and we have been farming in it., They never forgot their roots and us,
