According to the report, Shubman Gill will start rigorous practice on Thursday and will give a fitness test on Friday, December 5. If Gill passes this fitness test, then he can play some matches of the T20 series against South Africa.

It is also possible that Shubman Gill did not play the first two matches of the five-match T20 series against South Africa. He can also be selected for the last three T20 matches. However, the final decision on Gill’s return will be taken only after his fitness test on Friday. According to another report, for this reason Team India has not been announced yet for the South Africa T20 series.

Hardik Pandya’s return confirmed

Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya will also return from the five-match T20 series against South Africa. Hardik has currently returned to the cricket field. He is playing for Mumbai in the 2025 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In his comeback match, Hardik also played an explosive inning of 77 runs.

The first match of the five-match T20 series between India and South Africa will be played in Cuttack on 9 December. After this, the second T20 match will be played on 11 December in New Chandigarh and the third T20 match will be played on 14 December in Dharamshala. Then the fourth T20 match will be held on 17 December in Lucknow and the final and fifth T20 match will be held on 19 December in Ahmedabad.
