The SSC CHSL exam, which started from 12th November 2025, was completed on 30th November. Lakhs of candidates participated in this examination in different shifts. Now all the candidates are waiting for their answer key. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) may soon release the answer key of Tier 1. After this, candidates will be able to check it from the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in. After the release of the answer key, candidates will get an idea whether they will be able to qualify for Tier 2 or not.
Recruitment for how many posts?
A total of more than 3000 posts will be filled in SSC CHSL Recruitment 2025-26. This includes Group C posts, such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator (DEO). Only the candidates who are successful in Tier 1 examination will be able to appear in Tier 2. Therefore Tier 1 score is very important.
When and how will the answer key come?
Usually SSC releases the answer key within a week of the exam. This time also there is a possibility that Tier 1 answer key will be available online soon. However, the Commission has not yet officially announced its date.
Calculate your score like this
After seeing the answer key, first of all note down how many questions you got correct. After this also check the number of wrong answers. Now according to negative marking, subtract the marks of wrong answers from the total marks of correct questions. In this way your probable score will be known.

How to object
If you find any mistake or objection in any question or answer, you can send the objection with proof to SSC. This facility will be available on the provisional answer key. After studying all the received objections, SSC will release the final answer key. Only after this the result of Tier 1 will be declared.
Tier 2 and Typing Test Process
Candidates who qualify Tier 1 will appear in Tier 2 examination. Candidates will be called for typing test only after passing Tier 2. Only the candidates who are successful in the typing test will be included in the final merit list and will be eligible for government jobs.
