Tesla Self-Driving Car: Tesla cars are quite popular all over the world. Elon Musk’s company Tesla is known for making driver less cars. Now Tesla is giving the feature of text and drive to drivers in Full Self Driving (FSD) system. However, this is allowed only when the vehicle is stuck in traffic. Tesla CEO Elon Musk had told about this new feature a few months ago, despite the fact that due to this feature, the safety of the people sitting in the car and the people around them can be in danger.

Tesla gave the feature of Text And Drive

Elon Musk is very active on social media and also keeps informing people about Tesla products. On the night of Thursday, December 5, 2025, a question was asked from the Teslakonomics X handle ‘Can I Text and Drive in FSD v14.2.1?’ Along with this question, it was also told that the user was busy on the phone for the last half an hour.

Tesla owner Elon Musk answered this question asked on social media. In reply to the post, Elon Musk wrote that ‘Yes, but it also depends on the traffic around you’. This feature is not included in Tesla models in India.

How does Tesla car work?

Tesla’s driver monitoring system keeps an eye on the eyes of the person sitting in the driver’s seat through a camera installed in the cabin. If the driver is looking down at his phone for a long time, a warning is given in the vehicle to help the driver concentrate. After this, after listening to the warning, the driver can stop this strike. After five such strikes, the fully self-driving feature stops in the vehicle and the driver has to handle the steering wheel himself. But now drivers have been given more facilities in Tesla cars.

Elon Musk’s comment has created a stir in the car market. Tesla CEO claims that this monitoring system allows the driver to look around on some specific parameters. Like the car is stopped or in traffic or standing at a red light. In this situation, this monitoring system considers it safe to look elsewhere.
