In the three-match ODI series against South Africa, Virat Kohli scored 302 runs with an unmatched average of 151. During this period, 24 fours and 12 sixes came from his bat. Due to this strong performance, Virat Kohli became the Player of the Series. With this, he created the record of winning the most number of Player of the Series titles in international cricket, surpassing Sachin Tendulkar.
This was Virat Kohli’s 20th ‘Player of the Series’ title in his international career. Sachin Tendulkar won this title 19 times in his career.
