Jemima’s cryptic Instagram story goes viral
The one person who did not leave Smriti’s side during this difficult time was her teammate and close friend Jemimah Rodriguez. As soon as the news of postponement of the wedding came, Jemima left her WBBL season in Australia midway and returned to India. Now that the marriage has completely broken down, Jemima once again gave the message of standing up for her friend in her own style.
Jemima posted a cryptic story on Instagram. Video of a group singers, in which Olivia Dean’s song “Man I Need” was playing. The lyrics of this song are deep and emotional, like, “Looks like we’re making up for lost time. Need you to spell it out for me.”
Fans immediately interpreted this as support for Smriti. Along with this, fans also noted that Jemima has unfollowed Palash Muchhal, which further intensified the discussion on social media.
What did Smriti say?
Smriti Mandhana shared a note on Instagram, in which she spoke publicly on this issue for the first time. She wrote, “For the last few weeks, many things were being said about my life. I always keep things personal, but now it is important for me to clarify that the wedding has been called off.”
