ISPL Season 3 Auction: The player auction of Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) Season 3 was very exciting in Mumbai on Tuesday. Eight franchise teams together spent about Rs 10 crore on a total of 144 players. Due to which this tournament is moving towards becoming the biggest and most high-profile season till date. For tennis-ball cricketers across the country, ISPL has become a platform from where many players have started their professional cricket journey.

Vijay Pawle became the most expensive player

The biggest attraction of this auction was West Zone all-rounder Vijay Pawle, who was bought by current champion Majhi Mumbai for a record price of Rs 32.50 lakh. This is the highest bid received by any player so far in the history of the league. Pavle has performed well for Mumbai in the last season also and played an important role in making the team champion. For this reason the franchise has placed a big bet on him.

Big bet on Ketan Mhatre too

Young player Ketan Mhatre from West Zone also became a part of the expensive purchase. Chennai Singles paid Rs 26.40 lakh for him using the Right to Match card. With this he has become the second most expensive player in this auction.

This time the entry of two new franchises, Ahmedabad Lions and Delhi Superheroes, has made the league more competitive. Its direct effect was also visible in the bidding, especially in the category of young players.

Ankit Yadav attracted the most attention in the U-19 category. Tigers of Kolkata bought him for Rs 6.50 lakh and included him in their team. At the same time, Rudra Patil, only 16 years old, created history as the youngest player. Srinagar’s Veer signed him for his base price of Rs 3 lakh.

Tendulkar gave a special message to the players

During the auction, cricket icon and ISPL core committee member Sachin Tendulkar inspired the players. Sachin said that passion is most important to progress in sports. He said, “Try to be better today than you were yesterday. This is a platform where you can show yourself openly. Climb the mountain so that you can see the world, not so that the world can see you.”

MVP will get Porsche 911

The tournament will be played from 9 January to 6 February 2026 at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat. ISPL has made a big announcement this time saying that the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of Season 3 will win a Porsche 911 car. This is considered to be one of the most valuable individual awards in the history of Indian sports.
