Three youths of Indian origin have been arrested in connection with the firing in a parking lot in Brampton city of Canada. This incident happened after a dispute related to tow truck. According to Peel Regional Police, the incident occurred late at night on October 7, involving two separate groups. One person suffered minor injuries in this firing incident.
There was a dispute in the parking lot
Police said they received a report of a fight in a parking lot near the intersection of McVean Drive and Castlemore Road at approximately 10:45 p.m. on October 7. This quarrel gradually escalated and finally resulted in firing. According to the police, there was an argument between two different groups present in the parking lot and then violence broke out between the two parties. During this time bullets were fired from weapons. Police said one person suffered minor physical injuries in the incident.

Suspects identified after long investigation
After the incident, the police started a long investigation. During the investigation, the police identified three people belonging to the group who were involved in the fight. On November 20, police raided a home in Caledon with a search warrant. Meanwhile, all three suspects were arrested from the spot. The arrested accused have been identified as Manjot Bhatti (26 years), Navjot Bhatti (27 years), Amanjot Bhatti (22 years). All three accused are residents of Caledon.
Many serious allegations against Manjot Bhatti
- Manjot Bhatti has been charged with several serious weapons-related charges, including:
- willful reckless firing
- Charged with possession of a loaded prohibited or controlled weapon
- careless storage of a weapon
- carrying a concealed weapon
- having knowledge of illegal possession of weapons
He was kept in custody until a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton, after which he was released on bail.
Case against other two accused also
Navjot Bhatti and Amanjot Bhatti have also been accused of riding in a vehicle in which a weapon was present, even though they knew that there was a weapon in the vehicle. According to the police, Navjot and Amanjot Bhatti have been released under an undertaking (written conditions). Both will have to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton in the future.
