How did Mallika become a female auctioneer?

Mallika belongs to a business family and her interest in auctioning started with a book in which a female auctioneer was the main character. Mallika Sagar earned a degree in Art History from Bryn Mawr College, Philadelphia. At the age of just 26, Mallika became the first Indian female auctioneer at Christie’s in New York and this was a major achievement which gave her recognition in the auction market around the world.
Mallika is the first Indian woman auctioneer
In the year 2021, Mallika Sagar achieved another big milestone by becoming the first female auctioneer in the Pro Kabaddi League. Two years later, she was given the responsibility of conducting the auction of the Women’s Premier League for the first time. He also conducted the mini auction of IPL 2024 and the mega auction of IPL 2025 held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. At the same time, Mallika Sagar was also the auctioneer in the mega auction of the Women’s Premier League held last month.
