Punjab: In Punjab too, the daily working time for shops and commercial establishments has been fixed at 10 hours, however, the state government has made it clear that there will be no compromise on the health and safety of the employees and overtime payment will be as per the rules.
Andhra Pradesh: Andhra Pradesh government has given flexibility in working hours with the aim of promoting investment. Here, 10-hour shift has been allowed in many areas, but along with it, provision of weekly leave and overtime has also been kept.
