A case of murder of a 45-year-old woman has come to light in Seelampur area of North-East Delhi. The woman’s husband is absconding after the incident. In the initial investigation, the police suspect him of murder. Many teams of Delhi Police are continuously raiding possible places to arrest the accused.
According to the police, at around 7:32 pm, Seelampur police station received information about the murder of a woman in a house located at street number 9 of Gautampuri. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. A 45-year-old woman was found lying on the floor in a critical condition on the third floor of the house. There were many serious injury marks on his body. The police immediately took him to Jag Pravesh Chandra (JPC) Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Forensic team reached the spot
As soon as information about the incident was received, the forensic team and crime team also reached the spot. The police have registered a case of murder under section 103(1) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and started investigation. The body has been sent to the mortuary of GTB Hospital for post-mortem.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the woman’s husband is absconding from home after the incident. The police suspect him of murder. Several police teams have been formed to arrest the accused and his possible hideouts are being raided continuously.
When I broke the lock, I found the mother soaked in blood – daughter
While talking to ABP News, the daughter of the deceased told that when she reached home, it was locked from outside. A few drops of blood were also seen outside the door, but he thought his mother might be inside. Later, when she returned home again and the door was not opened for a long time, her family members were called. After breaking the lock and looking inside, the mother was lying soaked in blood, while the father was not at home.
The daughter told that she has seen fights between her parents since childhood. According to him, his father did not do any work and there were often disputes over money. However, there was no information about any major fight in recent times.
Sister made this allegation against woman’s husband
While talking to ABP News, the deceased’s sister Shabnam alleged that Mohammad Salim was suspicious of his wife and did not allow her to work outside the house. He said that his sister was troubled by this reason for a long time, but because of the children she did not leave the relationship.
Shabnam told that a complaint had been made to the police in this matter earlier also, after which the situation remained normal for some time. He said that on the day of the incident, he had talked to his sister on phone at around 10 am, but could not be contacted after that.
When he reached the spot, the house was locked outside and his sister was lying soaked in blood inside. He has demanded strict action and strict punishment against the accused. At present the police is busy searching for the absconding accused. Investigation of the matter is ongoing.
