There is good news for the youth preparing for government jobs. National Council of Educational Research and Training i.e. NCERT has issued a detailed notification for recruitment to non-teaching posts for the year 2025. A total of 173 posts of Group A, Group B and Group C will be filled through this recruitment. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply online from 9 am on 27 December 2025. The last date for application has been fixed as January 16, 2026 at 11:55 pm.
Actually, NCERT had issued a short notice regarding this recruitment on 17 December 2025. How many posts will be recruited
Under this recruitment drive, non-teaching posts from Level-2 to Level-12 will be filled. These include 9 posts of Group A, 26 posts of Group B and 138 posts of Group C. Overall, 173 new recruitments will be made in NCERT. The conditions of qualification and experience have been kept different for different posts.
Who can apply
10th pass, 12th pass, graduate and post graduate candidates can apply for NCERT Non-Teaching Recruitment. Educational qualification has been decided according to the post. For some posts, only school level education is required, while for some posts graduation or post-graduation degree is required. Candidates are advised to read the official notification before applying, so that any kind of mistake can be avoided.
How will the selection be done?
NCERT is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Education, whose headquarters is located in New Delhi. Recruitment here will be done through direct recruitment. There will be an open competitive written examination first in the selection process. After this, if needed, skill test and interview can also be taken. Final selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance and requirement of the post.
How much salary will you get?
In this recruitment of NCERT, the salary has been fixed according to the post. Salary structure varies from level-2 to level-12. The candidate selected for Level-2 post will get a basic salary of around Rs 19,900. At the same time, the basic salary for Level-12 post will be up to Rs 78,800. Apart from this, dearness allowance, house rent allowance and traveling allowance will also be given as per government rules. In this way the total salary and facilities make the job more attractive.

New candidates will have to register first, in which it is necessary to create a user ID and password. After logging in, information related to personal information, educational qualification and experience will have to be filled correctly in the application form. After this, passport size photo, signature and necessary documents will have to be uploaded in the prescribed format.
