There is talk of reunification of the two factions of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) before the Municipal Corporation elections in Maharashtra. After the meeting between uncle-nephew i.e. Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar, speculations are being made that NCP may be a candidate in many municipal elections including Pune Municipal Corporation. Meanwhile, Ajit Pawar group has put a big condition.
Ajit Pawar’s MLA Anil Patil says that even if both the parties of NCP come together, the elections to be held in Pune, Jalgaon and Dhule should be fought only on Ghadi (symbol of Ajit group).
