In today’s era, where people start thinking of setting up their own house as soon as they get married, a unique family has emerged from Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh which is no less than a wonder in today’s times. There are not one or two, but 83 people in this great family. The most special thing is that even today 6 generations of this family are living together lovingly under the same roof. When small families have become common in the country, this clan is beautifully keeping alive the centuries-old tradition of joint family.

4 different houses, but the whole family runs under one command.

According to PTI report, the heads of this Nagappa family living in Kurlapalli village of Anantapur district are Hanumantharayudu and Muthyalappa. This big family includes 6 mothers-in-law, 14 daughters-in-law, 20 children and many grandparents and elders. Even though this big family uses 4 different houses built side by side for living, their living, eating, drinking and happiness and sorrow are all the same. All the people in the family earn together and all the household expenses are also managed from one place.

Meeting over coffee every morning and food is prepared in the same kitchen.

The daily routine of this super family runs like that of a big company. Hanumantrayudu, the head of the family, says that every morning the elders of the house sit together over coffee and plan for the whole day. It is in this meeting that it is decided what will be cooked for dinner today, who will go to work in the fields and who will take care of the responsibilities of the house. The biggest specialty of this family is their sharing kitchen. The daughters-in-law together cook food for 83 people and everyone eats the food together.

Run 4 buses along with farming, this is how they resolve disputes

Farming is not the only source of income for this family. The family also has 4 buses of its own, which run between Kalyandurgam and Karnataka. The entire income from farming and buses is collected at one place, which provides strong financial strength to the family. Now, if there will be 83 people living in such a big family, it is natural that sometimes there will be differences of opinion, but the elders say that there is a rule in their house that any quarrel that happens throughout the day, it should be resolved by sitting together before the night falls. Respect and love for each other is the real secret of the unity of these 6 generations.
