External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in the press conference, “We are fully committed to ensure that those who are declared fugitives and wanted under the law in India, are brought back to the country. For this, we are in talks with many governments and other processes are also going on.” He said that there are many levels of legal processes involved in this, but we are committed to bringing them back to India, so that they can face legal action before the courts here.

Video went viral on Mallya’s birthday
Actually, this reaction from the Ministry of External Affairs of India has come after a video went viral on the 70th birthday of fugitive Vijay Mallya. This video was shared by India’s second fugitive Lalit Modi on his Instagram account. In this video, both of them described themselves as the two biggest fugitives of India. After Lalit Modi shared this video went viral on social media.
While sharing the video on his Instagram account, fugitive Lalit Modi wrote in the caption, “Let’s do something that will create a stir on the internet. Happy Birthday my friend Vijay Mallya. Love you.”
Lalit Modi celebrated Mallya’s birthday at his home
Lalit Modi hosted Mallya’s birthday celebration at his six-bedroom house in London’s Belgrove Square, one of the most expensive areas in Britain. At the same time, many people close to Vijay Mallya had even traveled from India to Britain to attend his birthday.
