In the podcast, Soha asked her mother and niece a very personal question about what they have learned from each other. In response to this question, Sharmila said, “Sara is very sociable, but she socializes only on a limited level. She has a lot of intelligence.”
Sharmila praised Sara’s sense of humor
Sharmila also praised Sara’s sense of humor and talent for Instagram captions. At the same time, Sara laughed at this and replied, “My Instagram captions contain small poem-like phrases with rhymes, which elder Amba (Sharmila) calls ‘limericks’.”
On this Sharmila said, “Sara is very good in these limericks and this is her special talent.”

Further in the conversation, Sara Ali Khan also talks openly about the attack on her father Saif Ali Khan in January this year. Sara said, “The beginning of the year was very difficult for me. At that time the whole family stood firmly together. I learned from elder mother Sharmila Tagore that no matter how difficult the situation is, a person should maintain his dignity and respect.
It is noteworthy that during an attempt to rob a house in Mumbai in January, a thief had stabbed Saif Ali Khan several times with a knife. Saif suffered serious injuries in his back and hands in this attack and had to undergo surgery. This incident shook the entire family to the core.
Sara said, “I saw my grandmother handling herself in that difficult time. Without panicking, without breaking down, she faced the situation with great grace. This was a big lesson for me.”
