Rajpal Yadav Check Bounce Case: Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav will go to jail again in check bounce case. Delhi High Court has sentenced him to three months in jail. Along with this, the court has also imposed a heavy fine on Rajpal Yadav.

Today, on Friday, July 10, this case was heard in the Delhi High Court and the High Court upheld his conviction.

How many months will Rajpal Yadav remain in jail?

The High Court has sentenced three months’ simple imprisonment in all seven cases of check bounce. The court ordered that all the sentences would run concurrently, so he would have to serve a total sentence of only three months.

Justice said- Rajpal Yadav got many opportunities
A bench of Justice Swarn Kanta Sharma upheld the conviction by actor Rajpal Yadav while dismissing the petitions challenging the lower court’s decision. Justice Swarnakanta Sharma said that Rajpal Yadav was given several opportunities to comply with his undertaking given in the court, but he did not comply with it despite getting repeated opportunities.

How much fine did the court impose?

The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 1.05 crore in each case. In this way, the total fine in all seven cases comes to Rs 7.35 crore. According to the court order, in each case Rs 1 crore 4 lakh 75 thousand will be paid to the complainant and Rs 25 thousand will be paid to the state.

What is check bounce case?

Rajpal Yadav made a film in 2010. Its name was Ata Pata Lapata. Rajpal Yadav had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore for the film. However, Rajpal Yadav said that it was an investment. Rajpal Yadav could not repay this loan and it increased to Rs 9 crore. In this case, he surrendered in Tihar Jail on 5 February 2026. Many actors including Sonu Sood helped him during that difficult period.

Rajpal Yadav had also said that ‘I have work worth Rs 1200 crore for branding in the next year. I have 4 agreements, movies are not included in it. Some projects are worth Rs 200 crore, some are worth Rs 2000 crore. Some of this is fees and some are shares in projects. I have 10 films in the queue’
