Big news has come for the youth of Rajasthan. Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released its annual examination list for the year 2026. After the release of this list, lakhs of candidates preparing for government jobs have got a big relief, because now they will be able to plan their preparation properly by knowing the date of their examination in advance. The Commission will organize a total of 16 different recruitment examinations in the year 2026.
According to the information released by RPSC, candidates can see and download the complete examination calendar by visiting the official website of the Commission. This calendar includes examinations of many departments like security, education, agriculture, energy, health, animal husbandry, women and child development.
The first exam will be held from 11th January
According to the RPSC exam calendar, the first exam of the year 2026 will be held on January 11. This exam will be for Deputy Commandant Exam 2025, which is related to Home (Security) Department. Lecturer examination for the AYUSH department will be conducted the very next day i.e. on 12 January 2026. Since both these examinations will be held at the beginning of the year, candidates will need to speed up their preparation.
Two important exams in February
Two important examinations have also been scheduled in the beginning of February 2026. Assistant Electrical Inspector examination for Energy Department and Junior Chemist examination for Public Health Engineering Department will be conducted on 1 February 2026. A large number of candidates with technical and science background take part in these examinations.
Security and Technical Examinations in March and April
Assistant Engineer Combined Company (Main) examination will be conducted in March 2026, which will run from March 15 to March 18. After this, there will be another big examination related to the security department in the month of April. Sub Inspector and Platoon Commander combined examination will be conducted on 5 April 2026.
There will also be examinations related to animal husbandry and agriculture department in April itself. Veterinary Officer Examination and Assistant Agricultural Engineer Examination will be conducted simultaneously on 19 April 2026. Apart from this, the Commission has reserved the date of 26 April 2026 for some other examination.
Major examinations of education department in May and June
May and June are going to be very important for the candidates who are dreaming of a job in the education sector. Lecturer, Agriculture Lecturer and Coach competitive examination will be conducted between 31 May to 16 June 2026. This examination will be held under the Secondary Education Department and a large number of candidates participate in it.
Senior Teacher and Law Officer Exam in July
There will be two important examinations in July 2026 also. Senior Teacher Competitive Examination will be conducted from 12th July to 18th July 2026. After this, Junior Law Officer examination for Jaipur Development Authority will be held on 26 and 27 July 2026.
Examination for specialist posts from August to October
Statistics Officer Examination will be conducted on 30th August in August 2026. After this, technical department examinations will be held in September. Factory and Boiler Inspector Examination and Factory Inspector (Chemical) Examination will be conducted on 20 September 2026.
There will be another important examination for the Home Department in October 2026. Assistant Director and Senior Scientific Officer examination will be conducted from 13 October to 16 October 2026.
Final exams in November and December
The last major examination of the year 2026 will be held on 15 November 2026, which will be conducted for the Protection Officer Examination. This examination is related to Women and Child Development Department. Apart from this, the Commission has also reserved the dates of 29 November, 6 December and 27 December 2026 for future examinations.

RPSC has clarified that right now this is the preliminary exam calendar. The detailed schedule of each examination, including examination centres, timings and guidelines, will be released separately later.
