On the occasion of completion of 100 years of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, major changes are going to take place in its functioning. The organization is going to change the structure of provincial campaigners. For this, a proposal has been made, according to which now there will be no provincial campaigners in the Sangh, but there will be divisional campaigners in their place. The scope of work of these divisional campaigners will be less than that of the provincial campaigners.
What changes are to take place under the new structure?
In this new structure, every state will have a state campaigner. A division of the union will be formed by merging about two government divisions (commissionership). For example, the Union has currently divided Uttar Pradesh into 6 provinces, Braj, Awadh, Meerut, Kanpur, Kashi and Goraksh, but from the administrative point of view, there are currently 18 divisions (commissionerships) in UP. In this way, 9 division campaigners will remain in UP and there will be one state campaigner for the entire UP. Whereas at present 6 provincial campaigners are fulfilling their responsibilities. At the same time, the number of field campaigners will also reduce.
There will be a field campaigner from UP and Uttarakhand
Along with the area campaigner of Eastern Uttar Pradesh, there is one area campaigner combining West Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Now instead of these two area campaigners, there will be only one area campaigner who will look after the work of entire UP and Uttarakhand, while the state campaigners of these two states will remain separate. Similarly, currently there is one area campaigner for the entire Rajasthan and separate area campaigners for the North region (Delhi, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal, Haryana, Punjab), but now in this region Rajasthan will also be merged from the Sangh point of view and there will be one area campaigner for the entire region.
Instead of 11, 9 area campaigners will be left.
At present there are 11 area pracharaks in the Sangh. After which only 9 area campaigners will be left and there will be around 75 division campaigners in the entire country. At the same time, the number of field campaigners will also reduce in this composition. Around 2 area campaigners will be reduced to 9 area campaigners.
