Indian T20 team captain Suryakumar Yadav ended the year in a spiritual atmosphere. Suryakumar, who is in the news for his poor form, reached the famous Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday on the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadashi. His wife Devisha Shetty was also present with him on this special occasion. Both of them offered prayers in the temple and took blessings of Lord Sri Venkateswara.
Special arrangements were also made by the temple administration for Suryakumar Yadav and his family. During the darshan, the temple administration gifted him a silk shawl. Suryakumar and Devisha spent some time in the temple and worshiped peacefully. After the darshan, a video of him surfaced on social media, after which fans got information about this tour.
Simplicity seen with fans
While going to the temple, Suryakumar Yadav and his wife Devisha were seen in traditional clothes. Surya wore a pink colored kurta, while Devisha was seen in a yellow saree. It was seen in the video that as soon as Suryakumar moved towards the temple, fans surrounded him. Despite this, he maintained patience and got photographed with fans while walking. After pausing for some time, he also ensured that no one was inconvenienced. His fans liked his simplicity very much.
This is not the first time that Suryakumar has reached Tirupati. Even before this, he had visited Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in 2023 and during that time he had shared pictures on social media.
Discussion is going on regarding the form
Suryakumar Yadav’s time on the cricket field has not been easy these days. He faced criticism after not performing as expected in the Asia Cup. After this, even in the T20 series against South Africa, he did not score runs from his bat. His form also remains a topic of discussion regarding the T20 World Cup and the upcoming series.
Recently, while talking about his performance, Suryakumar had said that even though runs are not being scored, his form is not bad. He expressed confidence that he is working hard and soon the fans will get to see big innings from his bat.
