Mamta Yadav’s journey has not been easy. Despite the village environment, limited resources and difficult exams like UPSC, he did not give up. Mamta was good in studies from the beginning and dreamed of doing something big. He had decided that he wanted to become an IAS officer. To fulfill this dream, he prepared for UPSC continuously for four years.

If we talk about Mamta’s education, her initial education was from Balwant Rai Mehta School in Delhi. After this he completed his graduation from Hindu College, Delhi University. It was during his studies that his dream of joining civil services was confirmed in his mind.

In the year 2019, Mamta passed the UPSC Civil Services Examination for the first time. At that time his All India rank was 556. This was a big achievement in itself, but he could not get IAS service at this rank. Many people come and stay here, but instead of accepting defeat, Mamta took it as a lesson. She decided that she would work harder next time.

Next year Mamta took the exam again. This time his confidence was stronger and his preparation better than before. He studied wholeheartedly and tried to improve himself every day. His hard work paid off and this time he achieved All India 5th rank. This was not only his personal victory, but also a proud moment for the entire village and family. Mamta became the first IAS officer of her village.

Mamta Yadav is an IAS officer of AGMUT cadre. It was not easy to reach this point from a small village, but Mamta showed that if the intentions are strong then the path gets created. Mamta credits her success to hard work and proper planning. He told that while preparing for UPSC, he took coaching and also paid full attention to his studies. Mamta used to study for 8 to 10 hours every day and as the exams approached, this time increased to 10 to 12 hours. He made NCERT books the foundation of his preparation and used the necessary material for other subjects.
